Ethan Caldwell is the senior editor at RateThePick. He leads category research, defines the buying factors and scoring criteria for each product type, and reviews every product page before it goes live.
His reviews are built from structured research: product specifications and documentation, recurring patterns in verified buyer feedback, side-by-side comparisons with alternatives in the same price range, and the practical tradeoffs that matter after purchase. Each page is written to answer three questions clearly: who the product is for, who should skip it, and what you give up by choosing it.
RateThePick reviews are research-based, and we do not claim hands-on testing unless a page says so. Read our Editorial Policy and Our Testing Process for details. Corrections and feedback are welcome at contact@ratethepick.com.
